Death knows no holiday. The business of casket retailing
puts the operator on call seven days a week! While it is not
necessary to physically be at the sales center every waking
hour, it is nevertheless important to be accessible by phone.
Make no mistake, being totally anchored to your sales center
can also be counterproductive. As stated earlier, the masses
aren't going to be flocking in. It is recommended that you
establish regular hours, but many business operators abbreviate
their schedule to five hours a day, five or six days a week.
This will leave time to get out into the community engaging
in interpersonal networking. |
